Cables One of the biggest challenges in the energy sector and in the industry is to determine when Medium Voltage (MV) cables can be repaired or have to be replaced. Replacement is very expensive but repetitive breakdowns and repairs cause very high direct and indirect costs. We offer a large set of services in order to help our customers with condition based maintenance of their cables and accessoires (junctions,...): Electrical measurements (tg delta, partial discharges) on all types of cables (PILC and XLPE) on site in order to evaluate the general condition of the cable and to localize the defects Laboratory examination and material characterization in order to have a complete diagnostic of the state of the insulating materials Independent expert advice concerning root causes of incidents Specific studies and R&D projects concerning repair methods, accelerated ageing simulation, space charge measurements,..
