Electrical Power Systems and Metrology The Electrical Power Systems and Metrology (EPSM) product line deals with resolving problems related to generation, transmission, distribution, and use of electrical energy. This team puts experts in Power Quality (PQUA), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), and Metrology at your disposal. They assess the global quality of electricity supply, in both public grids and industrial networks. They accomplish this by measuring, analysing, simulating, and characterizing electrical disturbances and phenomena. They assist companies in identifying and avoiding electromagnetic influences of one machine or installation upon another. They also analyse protection systems and perform studies related to the electrical aspects of distributed generation. They calibrate electrical measurement apparatus to guarantee that decisions and invoices are based on correct data. Mission- To be a competence center in Power Quality, Electro Magnetic compatibility, and any other aspect of electrical system dynamics.
