Energy systems review - Drying Due to varying process conditions drying processes often use large amounts of energy. The savings potential is often significant. Laborelec has developed an energy system review for convection drying ovens based on measurements and the analysis of different relevant topics. Organisational as well as operational, investment measures are evaluated, resulting in practical saving opportunities. We suggest the best way to adapt existing installations, and propose optimal solutions. We also assess the investment cost and payback period for the considered measures.
