Insulating fluidsAnalysis of transformer oil:Condition monitoring of power transformers is essential to avoid catastropic failures. Oil analysis is the most important part of it because it provides critical information on the state of insulating oil and paper, allowing preventive detection of ageing and latent electrical or thermal defects before they become a problem. With more than 45 years of experience and over 1500 transformers followed on a regular basis, we deliver very high added-value reports, based on a complete set of laboratory equipments: - All physico-chemical oil analyses (water, acidity, breakdown voltage, tangens delta, interfacial tension, inhibitor content,...)
- Dissolved gas analysis (DGA)
- Furanic compounds
- Corrosive sulfur, passivator, DBDS
- PCB (in accordance with all current standards, under Belac accreditation)
- Degree of polymerization of insulating paper
We also provide a wide range of specific services to our customers: - Optimizing a predictive maintenance plan for a transformer fleet
- Advice on cost effective remedial actions
- Evaluation of the ageing state for a transformer fleet
- On line monitoring systems (our Diagnostic Centre allows a permanent remote monitoring of transformers)
- Specific R&D projects and studies, for example concerning corrosive sulfur, aternative insulating oils,...
- Training on interpretation of oil analysis and sampling methods.
